Job Summary
- As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and participating in the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage, design, develop, create and maintain construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
- Assess potential risks, materials and costs
- Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
- Analyzing operational problems and developing solutions for issues
- Evaluating the safety of structures to determine if they need repair or reconstruction
- Evaluating the efficiency of existing systems and developing plans for improvement based on their findings
- Supervising the construction process to ensure that the project meets the set budget and timeline requirements
- Uses design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs
- Estimates materials, equipment, and labor needed to determine project costs
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
