F&B concept looking for a restaurant manager to join the team.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
-Supervises and manages employees.
-Manages all day-to-day operations.
-Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
-Maintains service and sanitation standards
-Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
-Manages day-to-day operations, ensures the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
-Lead the opening of the branch and ensure the implementations of the company policies and procedures along with the exact operation flow
-Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
-Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
-Acts as the guest service role model for the restaurants, sets a good example of excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
-Effectively deal with customers’ complaints in a friendly manner
-Remains calm during a busy shift and ensures team members remain focused during the shift - maintain an obvious presence on the floor, to both customers and team
Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities
-Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
-Ensures employees are treated fairly and equitably. Strives to improve employee retention.
-Ensures employees receive on-going training to understand guest expectations.
-Solicits employee feedback, utilizes an "open door" policy and reviews employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.
-Strives to improve service performance.
-Ensures recognition is taking place across areas of responsibility.
-Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; and enforcing policies and procedures
-You’ll be responsible for motivating the team and instilling a culture of passion, creativity, and curiosity. -You will ensure the team are engaged and will look out for individual development opportunities to maintain growth in the department
-Training and Food knowledge
-You’ll be responsible for ensuring all SOPs are accurate and up to date.
-Encourages the front of house and back of house teams to constantly improve and update their food knowledge - to ensure customers’ queries answered effectively
Financial
• Provides senior management with all necessary data and statistics relating to store sales and performance, in order to assist them in their decision-making process
• Achieve objectives through appropriate planning, organization of staff, inventory management, cost control and maximization of the store’s sales and profits
• Controls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; and ensuring high quality of preparation.
