Must-haves:
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting biometric devices such as fingerprint scanners, iris scanners, facial recognition cameras, and multi-modal biometric systems. Ensure all hardware and software components are functioning correctly and meet required specifications and standards. Perform regular maintenance and servicing of enrollment kits. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware or software. Provide timely on-site support to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation. Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and service requests. Track equipment and spare parts inventory and report any shortages. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the enrollment data captured. Knowledge of biometric modalities such as fingerprint, face, iris, and palm, among others. Familiarity with biometric standards like ISO/IEC 19794, NIST, ANSI/NIST-ITL, and interoperability protocols. Understanding of biometric matching and deduplication algorithms. Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. Knowledge of Java/.NET development with hands-on experience. Experience in IT Integration/Support/Validation. Working knowledge of Web services (IIS, Apache Web Server). Experience with APIs and integrations with systems. Familiarity with Middleware (e.g., JBoss, Tomcat). Experience with monitoring and logging tools. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containers.
