 Founding President / Senior Leadership Role

Details
Lead and oversee the licensing and accreditation process with Bahrain’s Higher Education Council (HEC)
Liaise with relevant ministries, regulatory bodies, and partner institutions
Design the university’s governance framework, policies, and academic regulations
Establish internal administrative systems and quality assurance protocols
Recruit academic, administrative, and support staff and build a high-performing leadership team
Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans
Oversee campus readiness, infrastructure, and service provider selection
Coordinate with international university partners to align academic programs, curriculum standards, and quality benchmarks
Represent the university with government entities, educational networks, and international bodies

Requirements

Proven experience in senior academic leadership or executive management, preferably in higher education
Strong knowledge of university governance, accreditation, and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic and operational plans
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in establishing or leading educational institutions is highly desirable

الإشراف على جاهزية الحرم الجامعي والبنية التحتية واختيار مقدمي الخدمات.
التنسيق مع شركاء الجامعة الدوليين لمواءمة البرامج الأكاديمية ومعايير المناهج ومعايير الجودة.
تمثيل الجامعة مع الجهات الحكومية والشبكات التعليمية والهيئات الدولية.

متطلبات

خبرة مثبتة في القيادة الأكاديمية العليا أو الإدارة التنفيذية، ويفضل أن تكون في التعليم العالي.
معرفة قوية بحوكمة الجامعة والاعتماد والامتثال التنظيمي.
القدرة على تطوير وتنفيذ الخطط الاستراتيجية والتشغيلية.
مهارات ممتازة في القيادة والتواصل وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة.
الخبرة في إنشاء أو قيادة المؤسسات التعليمية مرغوبة للغاية.
