Job Overview:

As an IT Administrator specializing in inventory management, CCTV, biometrics, and device audit, your role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. You will be responsible for managing IT assets, monitoring security systems, and ensuring adherence to IT policies and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Inventory Management:


Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.

Track asset allocation, disposal, and movement within the organization.

Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records.

2. CCTV and Biometrics:


Manage and maintain CCTV systems for surveillance and security purposes.

Oversee biometric authentication systems, ensuring they are operational and secure.

Respond to security incidents and investigate unauthorized access using these systems.

3. Device Audit:


Perform regular audits of IT devices to ensure compliance with security policies.

Identify and report on any vulnerabilities or non-compliance issues.

Develop and implement corrective actions based on audit findings.

4. Policies and Compliance:


Develop, update, and enforce IT policies and procedures.

Ensure that the organization complies with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address compliance requirements.

5. Security Monitoring:


Monitor network and system logs for security incidents.

Respond to and mitigate security threats and incidents.

Implement security controls and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.

6. Documentation:


Maintain detailed documentation of IT inventory, policies, and compliance records.

Create reports on inventory status, security incidents, and compliance efforts.

7. Vendor Management:


Work with vendors to procure IT assets and services.

Evaluate vendor contracts and agreements to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.

8. User Training and Support:


Provide training and support to employees on IT policies and security best practices.

Assist users with IT-related issues and inquiries.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.

Strong knowledge of IT inventory management tools and practices.

Experience with CCTV and biometric systems.

Familiarity with IT auditing, compliance, and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
