About the job

Job Description

Job Objective:

• Lead the craftsmanship, reliability, and scalability of your solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship

• Help build and achieve team vision in collaboration with the product owners

• Work closely with other engineers on the team to build highly scalable and robust backend services

• Understand functional specifications and deliver complete features

Primary Responsibilities 

• We embrace Design Driven Development, SOLID Principles, Event-driven Architecture, Algorithms, and automated tests (unit, integration and functional).

• Understanding development lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional and agile teams.

• Demonstrate strong technical skills with a deep understanding of modern architectural styles and practices with a focus on Microservices

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

• Strong foundation knowledge of software architecture concepts, patterns, principles, and quality attributes.

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

• Experience with system architecture or leading a software team is a strong advantage

• The position requires hands on approach you will be architecting and coding alongside the team

• The right person will possess significant hands-on implementation experience and demonstrate a strong knowledge in software development, IT operations

• Experience working with end user or developer communities

• Experience supporting partners and programs

• Playing an active role in designing, improving, and most importantly securing the overall backend architecture to support massive growth in users and products without compromise.

• Experience with AWS cloud platform

JAVA, Spring, Spring Boot

• AWS services/products

• Micro Services, Docker, Dynamodb, Elasticsearch, Web Services, Git, Gerrit

• Jira, Jenkins

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development

• Good knowledge of financial sector (preferably FinTech) products

• Proficient in backend development java and Java Spring boot

• Working experience in an agile software development environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail and target oriented

• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, and Arabic is a plus
