Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production And Quality Manager located in Manama. The Production And Quality Manager will be responsible for monitoring and improving production and quality at the factory and maintenance. They will oversee the production team, manage schedules, and ensure that products meet the company's quality standards. The Production And Quality Manager will also work closely with other departments, store, design, and sales to ensure a smooth production process and timely delivery of products.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Overseeing Plant / Production / QA activities to meet targets asper the management sets.
-Support QA team to ensure Product / Package quality
-Overall responsible for all kind of Quality certificates.
-Responsible for Productivity & Yields.
-Responsible to meet the Market demand asper the management requirements.
-Responsible to control the manufacturing cost.
-Responsible to coordinate with cross functional team heads to ensure the smooth operation of the plant
-Coordinate with Purchase team to make the packing material requirements and design.
-Responsible to use Optimum utilization of all machineries.
- Manpower handling and assigning the jobs.
-Ensure all workmen’s working safely in the Plant.
-Take up efficiency & yield improvement initiatives
-Responsible to keep correct Raw materials/Packing materials in sufficient stocks as per the requirement. -Responsible to submit the monthly WIP report to management.
-Take up any additional responsibilities assigned by management..
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment (in water factory or beverage company is a plus)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering/Industrial Engineering) or a related field
• Experience managing teams and overseeing production schedules
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of production and quality control methodologies.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
