Overview:
We are looking for a passionate employee who can provide exceptional animal care by assisting the veterinarian. In this role, you will be helping and supporting the veterinary doctors and ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be involved in a variety of tasks that include animal care, client communication, administrative duties, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets.
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
-Communicate and welcome the clients.
-Perform an initial examination of the animal.
-Gather a medical history and take vital signs.
-Assist the veterinarian in exam room, surgeries, and radiology room.
-Draw blood and use the blood test machine.
-Inventory of the medicines and food, and control the medicine usage.
-Cleaning roles, such as ensuring that the consultation room is clean and stocked.
-Medical care for hospitalized patients by giving medication, update the hospitalization sheet, cleaning .... etc.
-Educate and communicate effectively with pet owners about general pet care and medical procedures.
-Handle and restrain animals in a safe and compassionate manner by creating a safe clinic environment.
-Administration duties.
Requirements:
-Local hiring only.
-Effective communication skills and customer care.
-Comfortable working and handling animals.
-Veterinary Technician certification is a plus.
-Willingness to learn.
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficient with computer systems and software.
