Accountant (Bahraini National Only)
Responsibilities:
Financial Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and income, into the Odoo accounting system.
General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of transactions. Reconcile accounts regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Month-end and Year-end Closing: Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements. Perform necessary reconciliations and adjustments to ensure accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Generate timely and accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and present insights to management.
Compliance and Auditing: Ensure adherence to local accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
VAT and Taxation: Prepare and submit VAT returns and assist with other tax-related matters to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
Communication: Effectively communicate financial information and insights to colleagues and management in both Arabic and English.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, resolve discrepancies, and provide financial insights for decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bahraini national, registered with the Ministry of Labor for Tamkeen's National Employment Program.
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Accountant, with a proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records.
Proficiency in using Odoo accounting software.
Excellent command of Arabic and English languages, both written and spoken.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Experience with VAT and taxation procedures in Bahrain is a plus.
