Sr. Accounts officer - BAH
Tasks and Duties :
Ensure monthly / Annual closing by review of station expenses for accuracy as per KAC rules and identifying budget variance.
Candidate should be familiar with Accounts Receivable and Payable and should have experience in accounting software.
Monitoring receivable account and booking receipts and timely follow up for collection.
Assisting in budgetary controls and to follow up with vendors / service providers and Banks etc.
Any other specific work assigned by the superiors.
Requirements:
University degree in a finance or accounting discipline or equivalent
years hands on accounting experience preferably in Airline Industry.
Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple tasks, work under strict deadlines and exhibit a team player attitude
Knowledge of BAH VAT rules is considered an advantage
Good English communication skills both written and oral
Fair knowledge of Microsoft office; specifically, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
