DRIVER
We are currently looking for a DRIVER
Main job responsibilities:
1) Before leaving for delivery, check the material against the delivery notes for stock codes, description and quantity & then load it safely in the delivery vehicles. If later any shortages arise then the driver & helper will be held responsible.
2) Deliver items to different addresses and through different routes
3) Follow routes and time schedule
4) Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
5) Collect payments
6) Complete logs and reports
7) The material transferred from warehouse to store or vice versa must accompany the material transfer form in writing.
8) Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify supervisor of any issues
9) Helpers/drivers not going out for deliveries should help in stores.
10) To do any other department outdoor work as per the instruction of the supervisor.
11) Provide full assistance to the counter sales supervisor in all respect when and where required.
12) Follow all the safety, health & environmental instructions as described by the management
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Proven delivery experience is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
