 A retail company is looking for an Accounts assistant.


Following are the duties and responsibilities.


*verification and approval of daily sales and ensuring the timely and accurate banking of the sales proceeds

*verification, approval, and timely posting of petty cash expenses,

*processing the monthly payments of the suppliers with the highest level of accuracy and ensuring timely payment to suppliers

*providing relevant details to the suppliers regarding any queries they might have about the payments made to them

*ensuring the accuracy and timely preparation of salaries and overtime pay for the staff

*accurately maintaining records of all staff accounts like leave salary, air ticket, and indemnity

*timely and regular follow up for the receivable accounts of the company

*ensuring all the entries for supplier rentals, rebates, promotion fees are timely and accurately recorded in the system as per the supplier agreement

*supporting the Finance Manager in the finalization of accounts, preparing the schedules for audit and performing audit related work

*ensuring that all company policies and procedure are implemented and perform any other accounts work that may be assigned from time to time

by the management .


*Must be a graduate of BCOM

*With extensive experience in the retail field for no less than 5 years

*Male candidate preferred
