JOB PURPOSE:
Perform a technical, organizational and supervisory role on construction projects and providing supervising staff on site and ensuring that their packages are completed on time and within budget.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Managing all parts of construction projects and maintenance
? Making , Review and Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
? Setting out sites and organizing facilities and needs
? Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
? Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff
? Overseeing the design, purchase order and requisition of materials;
? Providing technical advice and solving problems on sites and projects
? Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork as per progress
? Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors and vendors in all stages of building
? Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during Construction which affect the quality of works performed;
? Provide Technical Support to other site team members
? Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Proven experience as a Site Engineer
? Project management skills;
? Knowledge of relevant building and health and safety legislation.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
? Ability to effectively manage personnel
? Ability to work under pressure
? Good management skills
? Must have Master degree in engineering.
? Must have bahrain driving licence
? Must have work ethics
