HEAD OF SALES (HVAC, MEP)
Manages and develops the business and services of the commercial air-conditioning section, along with additional responsibilities that may be added, such as B2B. Oversee the division in all its operations and ensure effective profitability and viability.
Key Responsibilities:
Assuming full operational responsibility for profit- and loss-related activities
Preparing business forecasts, budgets, and other reports in addition to monitoring the timely flow of paperwork necessary.
Oversee and ensure the department meets budget and schedule timelines in accordance with the scope of work.
Oversee service levels and direct technical support when required on a daily basis.
Coordinate, schedule, and manage work orders.
Oversee the purchase of all parts, equipment, and materials for the service department.
Perform customer visits and inspections to ensure service levels meet the highest standards.
Oversee all aspects of quotes, writing proposals, and general correspondence.
Review the department in depth for potential liabilities and roadblocks.
Establishing a team culture among service center personnel and holding the team to a high standard of customer satisfaction
Financial analysis to identify trends and prospective problem areas and take immediate action based on the findings.
Developing new programs and executing established plans to meet and exceed sales goals
Maintaining a working knowledge of competitors, developing innovations to maintain market lead, and sharing best practices.
Partnering with local management and personnel to maintain best practices for safety and sales generation in the field
Spend at least 5% of their time in the field to gain a “bottom-up” perspective on the status of being more efficient, cohesive, and viable.
