Senior Financial Analyst
About the job
Note: Only Bahraini Nationals will be considered for this role.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for aiding in the monitoring of credit limits for customers, reviewing policies and procedures, and following up on internal audit points for the Finance Division and external audit points for Bapco. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring Finance Division's compliance with regulations and internal controls. The job holder is expected to have some knowledge of accounting standards, industry best practices, and statutory compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle Financials and advanced knowledge of MS Office applications are fundamental for this role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct the financial evaluation of new customers post receiving annual financial statements and KYC documents from Marketing team.
- Set up the Credit Limit in Oracle EBS (Accounts Receivable Module) post receiving the credit limit and related bank guarantee or letter of credit documents for the customers.
- Monitor Credit Limit for customers and communicate with related stakeholders, such as Collection and Credit Risk in Marketing to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Reviewing policies and procedures for Finance Division.
- Follow-up on Internal Audit Points for Finance Division.
- Follow-up on External Audit Points and finalization of Management Letter response.
- Assisting with compliance issues, such as attending Tender Compliance Committee (TCC), Finance Risk Register Bi-Weekly Meetings, credit control committees, and Data Privacy and Data Governance program, etc.
