Welfare Officer
The Welfare Officer will play a vital role in promoting social responsibility, welfare management, and compliance with international best practices. This position will oversee the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) and manage social performance actions across Bapco Refining and its contractors.Job Description and Responsibilities
- Input into the development (including indicators, monitoring requirements, etc.) of the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) for BMP and review of Contractors' ESMS’s.
- Manage social performance actions within the ESAP by BMP and its Contractors.
- Collect, analyze, and report social and welfare performance data as part of BMP’s reporting to lenders.
- Manage baseline social and welfare data for BMP and ensure regular updates for business planning.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of company social management policies, standards, and procedures in line with Bahrain statutory requirements and international best practices.
- Support the implementation of fair working conditions and strengthen worker-management relationships.
Logistics Officer
The Logistics Officer will coordinate and manage lifting nominations, shipment scheduling, and logistics operations related to international sales contracts. This role requires effective collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and organize lifting nominations and logistics for international sales contracts.
- Coordinate with Refinery Operation Planning, Value Chain Optimization, Commercial Sales & Trading, and Wharf Operations.
- Liaise with external customers, Aramco OSPAS, inspectors, government officials, and agents for pre-, during-, and post-shipment activities.
- Coordinate with Oil Supply Planning & Scheduling of Aramco (OSPAS) on all activities related to scheduling and lifting of Abu Safah crude, including vessel acceptance details, lifting program, and maintenance schedules.
- Negotiate lifting dates and organize ships for loading and product transport.
