The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is a core member of APM Terminals Bahrain leadership team, responsible for providing strategic and operational direction across operations. This role ensures high productivity, strong safety performance, cost-efficient processes, and excellent customer service while driving operational transformation and innovation. The COO works closely with terminal leaders and subject matter experts to prepare the terminal for critical transformation programs, including top-line growth and asset management.
Extensive leadership experience in port, terminal, or logistics operations. Proven track record in strategic planning, operational excellence, and transformation management. Strong understanding of safety protocols, cost management, and process optimization. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills. Relevant advanced qualifications in business, engineering, or logistics management are highly desirable.
