Civil Inspector

Description:

Stantec is currently looking for Civil Inspectors to support a construction supervision project involving stormwater & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, and water distribution networks. This includes investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration, and construction monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements

• Prepare inspection reports and site records

• Perform civil and structural tests

• Provide general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship

• Identify non-conforming works, generate reports, and coordinate corrective actions

Description:

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of construction activities on-site, including material delivery, contractor schedules, labor resources, and equipment usage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review design proposals, work programs, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, payments, variation orders, and claims

• Manage site supervision staff and ensure works comply with contract specifications

• Ensure contractors, subcontractors, and workers adhere to schedules, quality, and safety standards

• Collaborate with designers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with plans

• Review progress and status reports; advise on adjustments to meet project requirements

• Provide updates to clients and project team, requesting approvals or change orders as needed

• Recommend innovative solutions to improve quality and reduce project cost

• Prepare and submit periodic project reports summarizing progress, schedules, and goals

• Coordinate with other resident engineers on schedules, resources, and solutions

• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship

• Maintain daily diaries and reports; liaise with clients, project management, contractors, and authorities

الإشراف وتنسيق جميع جوانب أنشطة الإنشاءات في الموقع، بما في ذلك تسليم المواد، جداول المقاولين، موارد العمالة، واستخدام المعدات.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• مراجعة مقترحات التصميم، برامج العمل، طلبات المواد، بيانات الطرق، الرسومات التنفيذية، المدفوعات، أوامر التغيير والمطالبات.

• إدارة فريق الإشراف في الموقع خلال فترة الإنشاء والتأكد من تنفيذ الأعمال وفقًا لمواصفات العقد.

• إعداد تقارير أسبوعية وشهرية عن تقدم المشروع.

• الالتزام بمعايير الجودة والتأكد من تطبيقها.
