AMI Engineer
Location: QatarAbout the job
We are hiring an AMI Engineer to support the installation, testing, and commissioning of smart water meters and related infrastructure. This is a full-time, long-term position.
Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems.
-
Ability to install, test, and commission smart water meters.
-
Familiarity with OMS metering standards and M-Bus protocols.
-
Experience integrating with HES (Head-End System) and MDM (Meter Data Management) systems.
-
Ability to configure and manage Gateways / DCUs for reliable data collection.
-
On-site experience troubleshooting communication protocols (RF, GPRS, NB-IoT).
-
Experience working with various stakeholders such as meter vendors, service providers, HES, etc.
-
Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
-
Coordinate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

تبحث الشركة عن مهندس AMI يمتلك خبرة ومعرفة متعمقة بأنظمة العدادات الذكية (Advanced Metering Infrastructure)، وقادر على تركيب واختبار وتشغيل العدادات الذكية للمياه، والتعامل مع الأنظمة والبروتوكولات ذات الصلة.
المسؤوليات:

تركيب واختبار وتشغيل العدادات الذكية للمياه.

الإلمام بمعايير OMS للبصمات وبروتوكولات M-Bus.
-
القدرة على الدمج مع أنظمة HES وMDM.
-
تكوين وإدارة Gateways / DCUs لضمان جمع البيانات بشكل موثوق.
-
الخبرة الميدانية في حل مشكلات بروتوكولات الاتصال (RF، GPRS، NB-IoT).
-
التواصل والتنسيق مع الموردين ومقدمي الخدمات وأنظمة HES وغيرها من الأطراف المعنية.

إعداد التقارير الفنية والوثائق اللازمة.

التنسيق الفعال مع الفرق الداخلية والمقاولين والموردين.

ضمان الالتزام بجميع معايير السلامة والجودة والتنظيمية.
المؤهلات والخبرة المطلوبة:

خبرة من 3 إلى 5 سنوات في مجال AMI والأنظمة المرتبطة به.
