Job Description
Stantec is looking for Civil Inspectors to support a construction supervision project involving stormwater & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, and water distribution networks. Duties include investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration, and construction monitoring. Responsibilities include interacting with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements, preparing inspection reports and site records, performing civil and structural tests, providing general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship, identifying non-conforming works, generating reports and corrective actions, and coordinating responses. Collaborate with engineers to solve project design problems and perform basic design calculations. Conduct technical and feasibility studies and site investigations. Liaise with remote teams to facilitate project completion. Ensure client service management through internal and external client liaison, building lasting positive relationships, and experience in utility diversions and management. Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines. Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and Quality Systems. Other duties as requested by the Assistant Resident Engineer.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of work experience. Experience in water infrastructure projects is an added advantage. Experience supervising microtunneling and structural works such as interchanges, tunnels, culverts, retaining walls, manholes, and ducts.

Qualifications
