Field Operator II

About the Job:

Job Summary:

Responsible for executing shutdowns, startups, and daily operations per established procedures, and monitoring plant parameters to report abnormalities. Additional duties include performing plant patrols, maintaining logs, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols such as the PTW system and QHSE programs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform shutdowns and startup operations as per guidelines set by procedures and supervisors.

• Pressurize and depressurize equipment and pipelines as requested/required.

• Monitor plant parameters, report abnormalities, and inform the control room operator if corrective action is necessary.

• Respond appropriately to plant emergencies according to ERP procedure.

• Patrol the plant area periodically each shift to visually inspect all equipment.

• Review pressure, delta pressure, temperature, and level gauges of all equipment and report abnormalities to the control room.

• Take gauge readings, analyze, and troubleshoot as necessary.

• Maintain daily operation logs and provide accurate verbal handovers to on-coming shift members.

• Identify potential hazards, take immediate corrective action where possible, and report occurrences to the control room.

• Act as an Area Authority for PTW system for isolation for all routine planned and breakdown maintenance.

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the plant to support production targets. Perform routine operational tasks under supervision, ensuring safety and procedural standards compliance. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain reliable and trouble-free operations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in operating and monitoring process equipment ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Monitor and record equipment operational parameters in the field, reporting abnormalities to Supervisors or CRO.

• Support system start-ups and shutdowns as directed by supervisor.

• Support and perform mechanical and instrument jobs as directed by supervisor.

• Assist in pressurizing and depressurizing equipment and pipelines when required.

• Regularly check pressure, delta pressure, temperature, and level gauges, reporting irregularities to the CRO.

• Follow established O&M instructions.

• Follow instructions from the CRO or supervisors to maintain stable plant operations and support production optimization.

• Perform troubleshooting to restart compressors after unexpected shutdowns per supervisor instructions.

• Participate in training and reviews of operational procedures, offering basic feedback for improvement.

About the Job:

Scope:

Perform all tasks assigned in a safe and responsible manner within the operating procedures.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor all process equipment and related maintenance activities as required.

• Monitor operational parameters in the field and routine logging of the same; identify and resolve abnormalities.

• Shut down and start up respective systems as required.

• Interact with Control Room Operator regarding operational parameters during regular operations, startups, and shutdowns.

• Take direction from control room operator per plant conditions to keep plant under stable conditions for optimum production.

• Top up oil and cooling systems, monitor on-line chemical injection systems, and collect samples as required.

• Perform/support daily, monthly, and quarterly checks and frontline maintenance as required.

• Prepare equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, decontaminating, and other procedures as required.

• Follow regular daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checks based on pre-planned schedules.

• Perform equipment operation and maintenance functions as required.

• Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions, and guidelines.

Job Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Minimum technical degree in Industrial Processes, Chemical, Petroleum, or equivalent.

• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector.

• Familiarity with plant equipment, processes, and ongoing activities.

• General troubleshooting, problem-solving, information analysis, and interpersonal skills.

• General understanding of Plant PFDs, P&IDs, drawings, Cause & Effect matrix, and Fire & Gas detection system philosophy.

• Basic understanding of Maintenance Management System (work orders, preventive/corrective/predictive maintenance methodology).

• Computer proficiency is mandatory; good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good command of English, written and spoken; Arabic is an asset.

• Motivated, team player, able to work within a diverse cultural environment, willing to learn.

المهام والمسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• مراقبة المعايير التشغيلية في الميدان وتسجيلها دوريًا، وتحديد وحل المخالفات.

• إيقاف وتشغيل الأنظمة عند الحاجة.

• التواصل مع مشغل غرفة التحكم بخصوص المعايير التشغيلية أثناء العمليات العادية وعمليات الإيقاف والتشغيل.

• اتباع توجيهات مشغل غرفة التحكم وفق حالة المصنع والحفاظ على استقرار المصنع لتحقيق الإنتاج الأمثل.

• تعبئة أنظمة الزيت والتبريد، ومراقبة أنظمة حقن المواد الكيميائية على الخط وجمع العينات عند الحاجة.

• تنفيذ ودعم الفحوصات اليومية والشهرية والربع سنوية وأعمال الصيانة الأولية حسب الحاجة.

• إعداد المعدات للصيانة بما في ذلك العزل والتصريف وإزالة التلوث والإجراءات الأخرى حسب الحاجة.

• اتباع جداول الفحوصات اليومية والأسبوعية والشهرية والسنوية حسب الجداول المخطط لها مسبقًا.

• تنفيذ وظائف تشغيل وصيانة المعدات حسب الحاجة.

• الالتزام بجميع سياسات وإجراءات الموارد البشرية والجودة والصحة والسلامة وسياسات الشركة الأخرى.

• درجة تقنية في العمليات الصناعية، الكيمياء، البترول أو ما يعادلها.

• خبرة من 0 إلى سنتين في دور مشابه ضمن قطاع النفط والغاز.

• الإلمام بمعدات المصنع والعمليات والأنشطة الجارية.

• مهارات عامة في استكشاف المشكلات وحلها، تحليل المعلومات، ومهارات التعامل مع الآخرين.

• فهم عام للمخططات العملية للمصنع (PFDs)، ومخططات الأنابيب والمعدات (P&IDs)، ومصفوفة السبب والنتيجة، وفلسفة نظام كشف الحريق والغاز.

• فهم أساسي لمنهجية نظام إدارة الصيانة (أوامر العمل، الصيانة الوقائية/التصحيحية/التنبؤية).

• إجادة استخدام الكمبيوتر، ومعرفة جيدة ببرامج Microsoft Office.

• مهارات تواصل وعلاقات شخصية جيدة، إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية كتابة ومحادثة، والعربية ميزة إضافية.
