Senior Civil Engineer – Bahrain

Location: Kingdom of Bahrain

Experience Required: Minimum 7 years (in Bahrain)

Registration: CRPEP registered (Category C or above)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have extensive local experience in civil and infrastructure projects, a strong understanding of Bahrain’s construction standards and regulations, and the ability to manage projects from design through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise civil and structural works for ongoing and upcoming projects.

• Ensure compliance with Bahrain’s construction standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely project approvals and execution.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.

• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site teams.

• Manage budgets, timelines, and project deliverables effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in civil and infrastructure projects within Bahrain or the GCC region.

• CRPEP registration (Category C or higher) is mandatory.

• BTech / MTech in Civil Engineering preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Bahrain’s construction codes, permitting processes, and local regulations.

• Proven experience in project management, site supervision, and technical coordination.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Bahraini national, registered with CRPEP, and possess solid experience in architectural design, authority submissions, and coordination with all relevant government and utility entities in Bahrain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural drawings, concept designs, and detailed construction documents.

• Coordinate and liaise with all relevant authorities for design approvals and permits, including:

  • EWA (Electricity and Water Authority)

  • Municipality (Building Permit Department)

  • Benayat System

  • Civil Defense

  • Urban Planning & Development Authority (UPDA)

  • Survey & Land Registration Bureau (SLRB)

  • Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA)

  • Ministry of Works

  • Other relevant engineering and construction regulatory offices in Bahrain.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare project documentation and follow up on submissions and approvals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (from a recognized university).

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in Bahrain.

• Registered Architect with CRPEP (mandatory).

• Excellent knowledge of authority procedures and submission systems (Benayat, EWA, Municipality, etc.).

• Strong design, coordination, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design tools.

• Bahraini nationality required.
