Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

Carry out repairs to machinery and equipment as allocated by the Supervisor

Skillfully repair, renew, and overhaul items of ships’ machinery and equipment per customer specifications

Take and record all important sizes to determine clearance limits; report discrepancies to Supervisor
-
Assist Supervisor/Work Preparator to determine spare part requirements
-
Arrange consumable materials (nuts, bolts, gaskets, etc.) for reassembly
-
Perform reasonable duties within individual’s ability as instructed by Supervisor
-
Observe company safety and quality control procedures; maintain good housekeeping
Mechanical Fitter – Rudder & Propeller
Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

Repair and maintain main propulsion shafting, propellers, thrusters, rudders, and steering machinery

Follow safety, quality, environmental, OHSMS, supply chain security, and information security standards

Repair and overhaul ships’ propulsion and steering equipment per customer specifications
-
Record critical measurements and report discrepancies to Supervisor

Assist in spare part planning and arrange consumables for reassembly

Maintain ISO standards, API Q1 compliance, and safe working practices

Electrician
Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

Carry out repairs, modifications, and new installations of electrical equipment in a ship repair yard

Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC motors, generator controls, crane controls, and fixed machinery

Adjust safety control devices and limit switches
-
Troubleshoot and program VFDs, static converters, and automatic voltage regulators
-
Perform cable installations and terminations using drawings and connection diagrams
-
Maintain awareness of electrical engineering fundamentals such as Ohm’s Law and AC/DC power equations
Rigger
Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:
-
Safely and efficiently secure and move heavy or delicate loads using lifting equipment
-
Apply knowledge of safe working loads and proper positioning of lifting appliances

Operate slings, clamps, and portable lifting equipment
-
Test lifting equipment and handle weight safely
-
Perform maintenance on wire and rope cables, including splicing and lubrication
-
Observe safety, quality procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and assist/train apprentices

Rewinder
Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

Disassemble, rewind, repair, and test electric motors, generators, transformers, and related equipment

Analyze motor specifications, perform tests, and check winding insulation resistance using a megger

Energize machines and diagnose mechanical/electrical faults
-
Dismantle machines to access motors and bearings
-
Wash and clean equipment and windings; rewind coils with identical performance
-
Insulate coils with fiberglass tape and varnish; carefully locate coils in slots
-
Maintain ISO, OHSMS, API Q1, and company safety and quality standards
-

رافعة (Rigger)
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
-
رفع وخفض ونقل المواد والمعدات بأمان وفق أوزان العمل الآمنة.

استخدام الأشرطة والمشابك لتثبيت الأجسام وربطها بالمعدات.
-
صيانة وتزييت الأسلاك والحبال.
-
الحفاظ على بيئة عمل منظمة والالتزام بمعايير السلامة والجودة.
-
مساعدة وتدريب المتدربين حسب الحاجة.
فني إعادة لف (Rewinder)
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
-
فحص وإصلاح وإعادة لف جميع المحركات والمولدات والمحولات.
-
تحليل مواصفات المحركات قبل إجراء الإصلاحات واستخدام أجهزة قياس العزل.
-
تنظيف المعدات والمراوح باستخدام البخار أو المذيبات الكهربائية.
-
تشكيل اللفات الجديدة بعناية للحفاظ على الأداء.
-
الالتزام بمعايير ISO، الصحة والسلامة المهنية، ومعايير API Q1، وتنفيذ المهام الأخرى المكلف بها.
