Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant — Bahrain

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented senior accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations, preparing financial statements, and supporting management with strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

• Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with Bahrain tax laws

• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts

• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits

• Review payroll, expense reports, and procurement processes

• Support management with cost analysis and financial decision-making

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Bahrain tax & VAT regulations

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems)

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)

نبذة عن الوظيفة:

نبحث عن محاسب أول يتمتع بخبرة عالية واهتمام كبير بالتفاصيل للانضمام إلى فريقنا المالي في البحرين. سيكون المرشح مسؤولًا عن إدارة العمليات المحاسبية اليومية، وضمان الامتثال للوائح المالية المحلية، وإعداد التقارير المالية، ودعم الإدارة في التخطيط المالي الاستراتيجي.

المسؤوليات:

• إدارة دفتر الأستاذ العام وضمان دقة السجلات المالية.

• إعداد التقارير المالية الشهرية والربع سنوية والسنوية.

• تقديم الإقرارات الضريبية وضريبة القيمة المضافة، والالتزام بالتشريعات البحرينية.

• مراقبة التدفقات النقدية، الميزانية، والتوقعات المالية.

• التنسيق مع المدققين لإجراء التدقيق الداخلي والخارجي.

• مراجعة الرواتب وتقارير المصروفات وعمليات الشراء.

• دعم الإدارة في تحليل التكاليف واتخاذ القرارات المالية.

المتطلبات:

• درجة بكالوريوس في المحاسبة أو المالية (يفضل CPA أو CMA).

• خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في المحاسبة، منها سنتان على الأقل في منصب إشرافي.

• معرفة قوية بالمعايير الدولية للتقارير المالية (IFRS) وقوانين الضرائب وضريبة القيمة المضافة في البحرين.

• إجادة استخدام برامج المحاسبة مثل Tally أو QuickBooks أو أنظمة ERP.

• مهارات تحليلية واتصالية ممتازة.

• إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية (العربية ميزة إضافية).
