Transformer Engineer
Educational Qualifications & Experience Profile:
- BE / B Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in power transformer and reactor maintenance in utility or oil & gas sector
- 5+ years of experience in transformer maintenance related jobs
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management and supervision skills
- Decision making ability and leadership skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
- Ensure safety within work environment and manage a complete workforce
Competencies / Skills / Others:
- Experience in power transformers and reactors maintenance at 220kV or 66kV voltage level
- Experience in ICT (Interconnected Transformer and Reactors) up to 220kV
- Transformer tank reconditioning / overhauling works
- Unloading, loading, and installation of power transformers and accessories (OLTC etc.)
- Physical inspection of transformers
- Primary testing (voltage ratio, magnetic balance, winding resistance, vector group, IR/PI test)
- Preventive maintenance, oil leakage repair, and overhauling up to 150 MVA transformers
- Emergency breakdown maintenance of power transformers
- Knowledge of transformer oil filtration
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings/manuals
- Ability to explain technical details to team members
- Knowledge of testing activities and electrical equipment (transformers, breakers, switchgear, substations)
- Strong resource management and coordination skills
- Computer proficient (100% computer savvy)
- English language is compulsory; Arabic is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Integrity, loyalty, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Heavy Driver
We are looking for a Heavy Driver with a valid GCC Trailer License (C+E) for Romania.
Requirements:
- Valid GCC Trailer License (C+E)
- License validity should be minimum 2 years
- Experience in driving trailer and trucks
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
