Quality Controller
Role Description:
-
Develop quality systems, including policies, procedures, and manuals.

Ensure proper implementation of the quality systems in the workplace.

Identify the potential quality lapses and take preventive measures to minimize the deviation.

Establish criteria & standards for testing with approval from the Production department head.

Define and manage all testing processes and resources to achieve the quality standards.

Candidate Requirements:

Setter Out
Personal Qualities:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years similar experience of setting out and performing detailed shop drawings in a shop-fitting or joinery manufacturing company.

Suitable experience in all aspects of joinery setting out from site survey, preparation of manufacturing shop drawings, through to material take-off and ordering, preparation of site working drawings.
-
Sound knowledge of manufacturing procedures and common shop-fitting materials including timber, boards, laminates, metal, hardware, and acrylics are vital.

Well-versed in Autodesk AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational environment.

Capability to do 3D drawings is an added advantage.
Design & Technical Manager – FF&E and Joinery
Candidate Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of ten to fifteen years in a manufacturing setup.

Suitable qualification either from an interiors background, technical, or similar discipline.

Joinery Expertise: Track record in joinery setting out detailing, planning, influencing, site execution strategy, shop drawings, cutting lists, and material take-offs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receipt of contract enquiries, establish suitability within the business and complete the necessary databases in line with QA procedures.

Send out enquiries to the supply chain to ensure the best prices are received by selecting the most suitable suppliers/manufacturing location for the project.

Liaise and request support from other individuals in the organization to produce programs and quality submissions as dictated by the enquiry/RFQ.

Analyze the supply chain quotes & negotiate the best costs with knowledge of raw material costs & manufacturing rate across various economies. Review their terms and conditions and compare with basic tender practices.

Assist in preparing tender analysis information & present in a professional fashion for both internal analysis & presentation to the client.
