NSA BOSS Bahrain: ROWPU Manager 

 

Job Summary

ROWPU Manager will be responsible for Managing of Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit(s) (ROWPU) and/or Water Plant(s). Assists in leading the creation of organization structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and has responsibility for the execution of Water Purification services, quality performance, equipment operation and cost. Responsible for the execution and compliance of water standard testing, water sampling, maintaining logs and equipment reading(s). Advises the Project Leader on issues, impacts, risks.

Roles And Responsibilities

Responsible for the performance of operational duties for Navy Drinking Water Systems. 

Responsible for supervising or directing the operation or maintenance of a particular WTP or water distribution system and making process control and system integrity decisions. 

Implements installation criteria and requirements for the U.S. Navy Overseas Drinking Water (ODW) quality program. 

Manages, collects, and interprets drinking water data within the installation. 

Identifies deficiencies in the drinking water system and works with water plant operators or the requirements branch to implement corrective actions. 

Maintains and tracks drinking water-related reporting requirements including but not limited to Sanitary Survey execution, Fit for Human Consumption determinations, Certificate to Operate submittals, and analytical laboratory quality assurance program. 

Facilitates information sharing, coordination, and distribution of technical data. 

Identifies and develops metrics to measure commodity efficiency. 

Analyzes utility trends and proposes remedial actions. 

Performs commodity management, including budget oversight and development of utility commodity rates. 

Develops and implements an integrated set of processes to minimize the life cycle costs of infrastructure assets, at an acceptable level of risk, while continuously delivering established levels of service for the installation’s utility systems.

Maintains Preventative Maintenance on the installations water distribution system. 

Performs other work-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives. 

Required Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen. 

High school diploma with 8+ years of employment in an industrial water purification plant or military training in water purification operations including 1-4 years in a supervisory role, prefer at least 1 year within KBR Water Purification group.

All related knowledge and experience shall be based on the use of the principles and application of physics, chemistry, and bacteriology as they relate to water purification; the ability to read, understand and record data from gauges, scales, and meters; the ability to make routine laboratory and field tests for control of plant operations. 

Must be available to respond immediately via telephone and to be on-site within a predefined number of minutes after notification. 

Must work on the site, be familiar with and can repair and operate the equipment on the site. 

Must be available, either on-call or on-duty, for consultation in case of emergency, malfunction, or breakdown of equipment, or other questions or concerns with the drinking WTP or distribution system. 

Must be available when the water system is in operation, working in the capacity of ORC. 

Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). 

Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion of multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities. 

Ability to work quickly and in a potentially high-stress environment. 

Comfort with multi-tasking and handling multiple requests from different individuals and departments.

ملخص الوظيفة

مدير وحدة تنقية المياه بالتناضح العكسي (ROWPU) مسؤول عن إدارة وحدة (وحدات) تنقية المياه بالتناضح العكسي (ROWPU) و/أو محطة (محطات) المياه. يساعد في قيادة إنشاء الهيكل التنظيمي والعمليات اللازمة لتنفيذ متطلبات الخدمات بالكامل، ويتولى مسؤولية تنفيذ خدمات تنقية المياه، وضمان جودة الأداء، وتشغيل المعدات، وتكاليفها. كما يتولى مسؤولية تنفيذ وامتثال اختبارات معايير المياه، وأخذ عينات المياه، وحفظ السجلات، وقراءة (قراءات) المعدات. ويقدم المشورة لقائد المشروع بشأن المشكلات والآثار والمخاطر.

الأدوار والمسؤوليات

المسؤول عن أداء الواجبات التشغيلية لأنظمة مياه الشرب البحرية. 

المسؤول عن الإشراف على أو توجيه تشغيل أو صيانة محطة معالجة المياه أو نظام توزيع المياه واتخاذ قرارات التحكم في العملية وسلامة النظام. 

تنفيذ معايير ومتطلبات التثبيت لبرنامج جودة مياه الشرب الخارجية (ODW) التابع للبحرية الأمريكية. 

إدارة وجمع وتفسير بيانات مياه الشرب داخل المنشأة. 

يقوم بتحديد أوجه القصور في نظام مياه الشرب ويعمل مع مشغلي محطة المياه أو فرع المتطلبات لتنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية. 

صيانة وتتبع متطلبات إعداد التقارير المتعلقة بمياه الشرب بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر تنفيذ المسح الصحي، وتحديد مدى صلاحيتها للاستهلاك البشري، وتقديم شهادات التشغيل، وبرنامج ضمان جودة المختبر التحليلي. 

تسهيل تبادل المعلومات والتنسيق وتوزيع البيانات الفنية. 

تحديد وتطوير المقاييس لقياس كفاءة السلع. 

يقوم بتحليل اتجاهات المرافق ويقترح الإجراءات التصحيحية. 

يقوم بإدارة السلع، بما في ذلك الإشراف على الميزانية وتطوير أسعار السلع الأساسية. 

تطوير وتنفيذ مجموعة متكاملة من العمليات لتقليل تكاليف دورة حياة أصول البنية التحتية، عند مستوى مقبول من المخاطر، مع تقديم مستويات ثابتة من الخدمة لأنظمة المرافق الخاصة بالتركيب بشكل مستمر.

يحافظ على الصيانة الوقائية لنظام توزيع المياه في المنشآت. 

يؤدي مهام ومسؤوليات أخرى متعلقة بالعمل حسب التكليف لتحقيق الأهداف التنظيمية / التشغيلية. 

المؤهلات المطلوبة

يجب أن يكون مواطنًا أمريكيًا. 

- شهادة الثانوية العامة مع خبرة 8 سنوات أو أكثر في محطة تنقية المياه الصناعية أو التدريب العسكري في عمليات تنقية المياه بما في ذلك 1-4 سنوات في دور إشرافي، ويفضل سنة واحدة على الأقل ضمن مجموعة تنقية المياه KBR.

يجب أن تعتمد جميع المعارف والخبرات ذات الصلة على استخدام مبادئ وتطبيق الفيزياء والكيمياء وعلم الجراثيم كما تتعلق بتنقية المياه؛ والقدرة على قراءة وفهم وتسجيل البيانات من المقاييس والمقاييس والأمتار؛ والقدرة على إجراء اختبارات روتينية في المختبر وفي الميدان للتحكم في عمليات المصنع.

يجب أن يتمتع بمهارات إدارية وتنظيمية وحاسوبية بما في ذلك الكفاءة في استخدام مجموعة Microsoft Office بما في ذلك (MS Word و PowerPoint و Excel و Outlook). 

القدرة المؤكدة على التنظيم وإعطاء الأولوية ومتابعة إكمال المهام المتعددة، في ظل مواعيد نهائية صارمة وأولويات متغيرة. 

القدرة على العمل بسرعة وفي بيئة مليئة بالضغوط المحتملة. 

الراحة في أداء المهام المتعددة والتعامل مع طلبات متعددة من أفراد وأقسام مختلفة.
