Details
Support the GEF GBF EAS Project, assisting developing, middle-income, and small island nations in advancing their commitments under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Help countries implement early actions on the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), update National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs), and prepare national reports. Facilitate effective collaboration between governments, civil society, Indigenous Peoples, and local communities. Contribute to the technical and financial assistance provided to 139 countries through the Umbrella Programme to Support NBSAP Updates and Seventh National Reports.

Requirements

• Relevant academic background in environmental science, biodiversity, project management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience in supporting multi-stakeholder projects or international programs is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and institutional contexts.
