Requirements
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in repair work, preferably in a shipyard or heavy engineering industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership, managerial, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Ability to plan, define, and develop schedules, activities, estimate resources, and activity durations
- Effective negotiation skills
Sr. Rigging Supervisor
Details
Directly supervise day-to-day activities of the Maneuvering and Rigging Section inside and outside the yard, including rigging and transporting materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and coordinate lifting operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in rigging and lifting operations
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and method statements
- Familiarity with heavy lift plans and procedures
- Ability to supervise and coordinate rigging teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize work schedules and distribute equipment
- Experience in crane setup and directing crane operations
- Ability to assist in docking/undocking and mooring operations
