LINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for troubleshooting and testing of IFEC system on-board customer aircrafts in accordance with approved documentation, applicable regulations, and local policy and procedures.

Ensure adequate qualification to perform task assigned in accordance with the applicable Thales procedures.

Document work accomplished in accordance with customer’s requirements, Thales and the station specific procedures.

Use the appropriate GSE equipment for performing the assigned task.

Performs data and administrative entries using the applicable Maintenance Tracking and documentation systems.

Accountable for the use of the proper calibrated tools to perform the tasks.

Checking the work after completion to ensure integrity and pay attention to details.

Ensure the cleanliness of facility, tools, vehicles and equipment used.

Use safety net when performing task assigned.

Follow calibration rules when using calibrated tool.

Report unsafe act and prevent unsafe behavior.

Assist other Line Maintenance Technicians when required.

Comply with Thales Quality and Safety manuals.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting generally acquired through commercial aviation or technical school education combined with related industry experience (Avionics/IFE) with an airline.

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science in Aviation Electronics and/or Communication Engineering is preferred.

Holder of a valid Aircraft Mechanic ICAO licence is a must.

الوظائف والمسؤوليات

المسؤول عن استكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها واختبار نظام IFEC على متن طائرات العملاء وفقًا للوثائق المعتمدة واللوائح المعمول بها والسياسات والإجراءات المحلية.

ضمان التأهيل الكافي لأداء المهمة الموكلة إليه وفقًا لإجراءات Thales المعمول بها.

توثيق العمل المنجز وفقًا لمتطلبات العميل، وتاليس، والإجراءات المحددة للمحطة.

استخدم معدات GSE المناسبة لأداء المهمة الموكلة إليك.

تنفيذ إدخالات البيانات والإدارة باستخدام أنظمة تتبع الصيانة والتوثيق المعمول بها.

المسئول عن استخدام الأدوات المعايرة المناسبة لأداء المهام.

فحص العمل بعد الانتهاء منه للتأكد من سلامته والاهتمام بالتفاصيل.

التأكد من نظافة المنشأة والأدوات والمركبات والمعدات المستخدمة.

استخدم شبكة الأمان عند أداء المهمة الموكلة إليك.

اتبع قواعد المعايرة عند استخدام أداة معايرة.

الإبلاغ عن الفعل غير الآمن ومنع السلوك غير الآمن.

مساعدة فنيي صيانة الخطوط الآخرين عند الحاجة.

الالتزام بدليل الجودة والسلامة الخاص بشركة Thales.

متطلبات الخبرة العملية

تُكتسب المعرفة بالإلكترونيات واستكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها عادةً من خلال التعليم في مجال الطيران التجاري أو المدارس الفنية جنبًا إلى جنب مع الخبرة الصناعية ذات الصلة (إلكترونيات الطيران / الترفيه على متن الطائرة) مع شركة طيران.

المؤهلات والمتطلبات التعليمية

يُفضل الحصول على درجة البكالوريوس في علوم إلكترونيات الطيران و/أو هندسة الاتصالات.

يجب أن يكون حامل رخصة ميكانيكي طائرات ICAO سارية المفعول.
