HSE OFFICER
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer specializing in offshore construction and marine projects to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain HSE management systems for offshore construction and marine projects.
-
Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analysis for marine operations.
-
Monitor all offshore activities including diving operations, heavy lifts, pipe-laying, and vessel operations.
-
Ensure compliance with international standards (ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL) and client HSE requirements.
-
Lead investigation of incidents, near-misses, and hazardous occurrences.
-
Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and specialized safety training for offshore personnel.
-
Perform regular HSE audits, inspections, and emergency drill evaluations.
-
Monitor and audit subcontractors’ HSE performance.
-
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.

Act as emergency response coordinator during offshore incidents.
MARINE OPERATIONS MANAGER
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in marine operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Proven track record managing vessel operations for offshore, dredging, or marine construction projects.
-
Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW).
-
Experience with dynamic positioning systems, vessel tracking software, and port management systems.
Preferred Certifications:

Master Mariner (Class 1) or Chief Engineer License.

ISM Code Internal Auditor certification.

DP Operator Certification (preferred).

NEBOSH or IOSH safety certification.
LIFTING AND RIGGING MANAGER
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and approve complex lift plans for offshore and shipyard operations, including tandem and critical lifts.

Manage and mentor rigging supervisors, lift planners, and rigging crews across multiple projects.

Ensure all rigging and lifting operations comply with company HSE policies and international standards (ISO, LOLER, API).

Oversee inspection, certification, and maintenance of all rigging equipment and lifting gear.

Provide expert technical advice on rigging methodologies, load calculations, and equipment selection.

Develop and implement rigging and lifting procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.

Evaluate and approve subcontractors and service providers for specialized lifting services.

Conduct regular audits of rigging operations and equipment to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Coordinate and monitor training programs for rigging personnel to maintain competency standards.
