Cost Controller Job In Bahrain

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts.

  • Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to align cost plans.

• Cost Monitoring & Analysis

  • Monitor daily expenditures and compare them to the budget.

  • Analyze variances and provide explanations for over/under spending.

• Reporting

  • Prepare regular cost reports, including variance analysis.

  • Present cost data to management and stakeholders.

• Cost Control Processes

  • Implement and maintain cost control systems.

  • Review invoices, purchase orders, and contracts to ensure compliance with budgets.

• Support Procurement & Planning

  • Work with procurement to evaluate cost-effective suppliers.

  • Assist in planning resource allocation based on cost data.

• Project Control (if applicable)

  • Work closely with project teams to track cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide real-time cost information for decision-making.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Proficiency in cost control software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Primavera, Excel)

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and reporting skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

• Professional certifications (preferred):

  • CMA (Certified Management Accountant)

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) – if project-related

  • ACCA, CPA (depending on location and industry)

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting

• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• إعداد وتطوير الميزانيات والتوقعات المالية

• التعاون مع مديري المشاريع والفرق المالية لمواءمة خطط التكلفة

• مراقبة المصروفات اليومية ومقارنتها بالميزانية

• تحليل الفروق وتقديم تفسيرات للإنفاق الزائد أو المنخفض

• إعداد تقارير دورية عن التكاليف، بما في ذلك تحليل الفروق

• عرض بيانات التكاليف للإدارة وأصحاب العلاقة

• تطبيق وصيانة أنظمة مراقبة التكاليف

• مراجعة الفواتير وأوامر الشراء والعقود لضمان الالتزام بالميزانية

• دعم عمليات الشراء والتخطيط من خلال تقييم الموردين ذوي التكلفة الفعالة

• التعاون مع فرق المشاريع لمتابعة أداء التكاليف خلال دورة حياة المشروع

• توفير معلومات التكاليف في الوقت الفعلي لدعم اتخاذ القرار

المهارات والمؤهلات:

• مهارات رقمية وتحليلية قوية

• إجادة استخدام برامج مراقبة التكاليف مثل SAP، Oracle، Primavera، Excel

• دقة واهتمام بالتفاصيل

• مهارات تواصل وتقارير ممتازة

المتطلبات التعليمية:
