Senior Internal Auditor

Qualifications

• Professional Audit and Accounting Certifications: CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA are mandatory

• Preference will be given to candidates with a CIA certification and additional relevant certifications

• Minimum of 6 years of auditing experience, with a proven track record of leading audit engagements

• Strong knowledge of Global Internal Auditing Standards and best practices

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify complex issues and develop practical solutions

• Proficiency in using audit software and tools for data analysis and reporting

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines

Vice President Legal - Upstream

Leadership and Mentorship

• Lead and manage the relationship and workflow between various internal stakeholders and operational critical departments, with respect to all contracting and procurement activities to ensure the timely review and allocation of tasks, ensuring the time-critical matters are prioritized so as not to impact ongoing company operations

• Supervise, lead and mentor junior legal team members working within the BE Entities vertical, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of legal practice

• Promote a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement

• Prepare training materials and provide training workshops to other departments on legal contracts, transactions, arrangements, and other matters, when required

• Provide support to the professional development of other members of the BE Entities vertical

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in law, or related field from an accredited school of law, with superior academic credentials

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in corporate and commercial law with a law firm or in-house with an international company, with experience drafting and negotiating contracts and advising on a broad range of legal issues, corporate governance, and management of legal department

• UK or Bahrain law qualified lawyer, preferred

• Previous oil and gas experience desirable

• Strong knowledge of English law and applicable regulatory frameworks for business entities

• Excellent leadership, communication skills, and negotiation skills

القيادة والإشراف:

• خبرة لا تقل عن 12 سنة في القانون التجاري والشركات في مكتب محاماة أو داخل شركة دولية، مع خبرة في صياغة ومفاوضة العقود وتقديم الاستشارات حول مجموعة واسعة من القضايا القانونية، وحوكمة الشركات وإدارة القسم القانوني

• يفضل أن يكون المحامي مؤهل وفقًا للقانون البريطاني أو البحريني

• خبرة سابقة في قطاع النفط والغاز مرغوبة

• معرفة قوية بالقانون الإنجليزي والأطر التنظيمية المطبقة على الشركات

• مهارات قيادة، تواصل، ومفاوضة ممتازة
