Provides technical assistance in Population & Development, Reproductive Health & Rights, Youth Development, and Gender Equality.

Works with governments, civil society, academic institutions, and youth-led groups.
Mission of the Role:
The National Youth Empowerment Coordinator contributes to the Bahrain Youth Empowerment and Research Programme. The programme supports Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 by ensuring youth participation in national development, bridging grassroots youth dialogue with evidence-based policy-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the Bahrain Youth Empowerment and Research Programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs.

Facilitate the “Jalsat Shabab” (Youth Dialogues): enabling direct engagement between youth and decision-makers to gather qualitative insights.

Oversee the Research Fellowship Programme: empowering postgraduate students to transform dialogue insights into evidence-based policy recommendations.

Support the strategic study “Enhancing Meaningful Youth Participation in Bahraini Civic Dialogue”, bridging youth voices with national policy.

Translate qualitative youth insights into policy briefs and a final Outcome Document for the National Youth Summit.

Ensure programme activities align with UNFPA’s mandate and national priorities, and provide guidance for effective youth participation.
Desired Profile:

Experience in youth empowerment, civic engagement, policy analysis, or development programmes.

الهدف والمهمة
يُعتبر مكتب صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان (UNFPA) في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي في مسقط-عمان، الذي أُنشئ عام 2006، جهة تقدم الدعم الفني في المجالات الرئيسية المتعلقة بالسكان والتنمية، الصحة الإنجابية والحقوق، تمكين الشباب، والمساواة بين الجنسين.
يسعى الصندوق إلى توسيع الفرص أمام النساء والشباب ليتمكنوا من عيش حياة صحية ومنتجة. ومنذ تأسيس UNFPA عام 1969، انخفض عدد النساء اللاتي يُصبن بالمضاعفات الناتجة عن الحمل أو الولادة إلى النصف تقريبًا.
يعمل UNFPA GCC مع عدد من الشركاء الاستراتيجيين في عمان والكويت والسعودية والإمارات والبحرين وقطر، بما في ذلك الجهات الحكومية، منظمات المجتمع المدني، المؤسسات الأكاديمية، ومجموعات الشباب. وتتنوع آليات التعاون بين اتفاقيات الصندوق الائتماني، مذكرات التفاهم، أو اتفاقيات مشاريع محدودة المدة.
السياق الوظيفي
يساهم منسق تمكين الشباب الوطني بشكل فعال في إدارة برنامج تمكين الشباب والبحث الوطني في البحرين، وهو شراكة متعددة الأبعاد تركز على أولويات وطنية رئيسية ضمن رؤية البحرين الاقتصادية 2030.
بالشراكة الوثيقة مع وزارة شؤون الشباب، طور UNFPA منهجًا مبتكرًا لضمان مشاركة الشباب البحرينيين كأطراف فاعلة في تشكيل مستقبل وطنهم. يخلق هذا البرنامج دورة قوية حيث تُسمع أصوات الشباب وتدعم بالبحث العلمي القوي.
يتألف البرنامج من ثلاث أنشطة رئيسية مترابطة:

جلسات شباب (Jalsat Shabab): منصة استراتيجية للحوار المباشر بين الشباب وصناع القرار لجمع رؤى نوعية.

برنامج الزمالة البحثية: مبادرة لتمكين طلاب الدراسات العليا المتميزين من تحويل رؤى الجلسات الحوارية إلى معرفة قائمة على الأدلة.

الدراسة الاستراتيجية: بعنوان "تعزيز مشاركة الشباب بشكل فعّال في الحوار المدني البحريني"، تهدف إلى سد الفجوة بين أصوات الشباب والسياسات الوطنية لدعم القدرة السكانية الوطنية.
أهداف البرنامج

ربط الفجوة بين الحوارات الشبابية الميدانية ("جلسات شباب") والسياسات على المستوى العالي من خلال تحويل رؤى الشباب النوعية إلى مذكرات سياسات احترافية قائمة على الأدلة.

إعداد الوثيقة النهائية للنتائج (Outcome Document) لعرضها في القمة الوطنية للشباب.
