Chief Accountant / Senior Accountant Job In Bahrain

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial data to support business decision-making. Ensure timely submission of reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.

• General Ledger Oversight: Supervise day-to-day operations of the general accounting department.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP), and company policies. Coordinate internal and external audits.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor actual results against budget and report variances. Develop and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Liaison Functions: Act as a point of contact for banks, auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)

Qualifications:
