Production Planner

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities / Job Summary:

1. Organize and supervise the activities of electronic/pneumatic/instrument technicians in all fields described below whenever required

2. Inert gas controlling system

3. Main and auxiliary engines controlling system, engine alarm and monitoring system, bilge and ballast water monitoring systems, oil discharge monitoring system, cargo tanks monitoring, draft measuring and level alarm systems, pneumatic and electronic viscometers

4. Automatic voltage regulators, load sharing devices and frequency monitoring devices, internal communication system, fire detection system

5. Flow control instruments, measuring meters and instruments including portable test meters, gas detecting meters, etc.

6. Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times

7. Ensure an acceptable ISO standards of Quality, Environmental, OHSMS, Security Management System, competence of testing and calibration laboratories and American Petroleum Institute (API) Q1 are maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company's QEHS&S Manuals/Procedures and Policies

Senior Production Planner

Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and producing work schedules and Gantt charts for ship repair, shipbuilding, and specialized jobs for vessels and projects within the Yard & Offshore

• Measure and record work performance, and develop appropriate data banks for special projects as directed

• Study project work lists prior to the arrival of vessels

• Determine activity duration and prepare initial work schedule

• Determine level of detail necessary

• Determine resources to be assigned per trade

• Prepare final schedule with maximum accuracy

• Track work progress and update the system accurately by visiting sites – on board and workshops

• Analyze data using reports, graphics, and profiles

• Compare actual progress to planned progress

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• Ensure acceptable ISO standards of Quality, Environmental, OHSMS and Security Management System and American Petroleum Institute (API) Q1 are maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company’s QEHS&S Manual and Policy

Desired Candidate Profile:

• University Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education and experience

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as planner in marine industry or similar industry

• Familiarity with Primavera Project Planner

• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems and Microsoft Office products, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• دراسة قوائم أعمال المشاريع قبل وصول السفن.

• تحديد مدة كل نشاط وإعداد جدول العمل الأولي.

• تحديد مستوى التفاصيل المطلوب.

• تحديد الموارد المخصصة لكل تخصص.

• إعداد الجدول النهائي بأقصى درجة من الدقة.

• متابعة تقدم العمل وتحديث النظام بدقة عبر زيارة المواقع على متن السفن وورش العمل.

• تحليل البيانات باستخدام التقارير والرسوم البيانية والملفات التعريفية.

• مقارنة التقدم الفعلي بالتقدم المخطط.

• أداء أي مهام وظيفية أخرى مكلف بها.

• التأكد من الالتزام بمعايير ISO المقبولة للجودة، والبيئة، ونظام إدارة الصحة والسلامة المهنية، ونظام إدارة الأمن، ومعايير API Q1 وفقًا لإجراءات الشركة ودليل QEHS&S.
