Yolo Digital Marketing is currently searching for an Social Media Intern to join our team and lead the marketing activities.
The Social Media role determines the presence of creativity to work as a member of the creative and social media team.

- The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated, creative person with experience and a passion for engaging with current and future customers.
- The ultimate goal is to turn fans into customers.
- The required job role focuses on creating visuals and publishing content on all social media platforms, including TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram to help the marketing department to reach the desired goals through the effective use of tools to grow an audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately, boost sales.
- Also oversees site metrics, interacts with readers, and is responsible for creative design.
- He or she will have to take on the role of interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on social media platforms, including analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online.
Duties:
- Include planning, implementing, and maintaining a social media presence that ensures a high level of web traffic and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is someone who stays up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. He or she needs to have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate the company’s views creatively.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the various social media platforms.
- Plan and manage the creation of relevant and engaging digital content for publishing into various digital platforms
- Design and supervise all aspects of the Social Media platforms
- Produce, edit, distribute and share engaging content on a regular basis (e.g. original text, photos, and videos)
- Interact with fans and followers, reply to queries promptly, and monitor customer feedback
- Create and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Excellent knowledge of TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
- Generate impactful and meaningful content on all social media platforms. It encompasses areas such as writing and editing social media posts, growing customer engagement, and supporting campaigns team
- Lead and promote social influencer programs, while regularly attending social influencer events
- Keep updated on the best practices and emerging trends in social media
- Prepare periodical reports on social media marketing efforts for the Digital Marketing Lead
- Set definite objectives and report on social media Return on Investment (ROI)
- Keep a close eye on the competition, determine realistic benchmarks, and develop strategies to gain a competitive edge
- Investigate and determine clients wants and needs
- Plan and manage digital strategies for clients and work towards defined goals
- Present and consult clients on social media and digital marketing strategies
- Define SMART KPIs and metrics to track for each client
- Prepare client proposals & present reports on clients’ progress
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in many social media platforms
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic - English) and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
- Experience using various analytics software.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
