ALS Engineer
What You Will Do
Building Artificial Lift market positions by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Eastern Europe / Caspian region
Screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Technical Support to clients on ALS selection, application design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting: Beam Pump, Plunger Lift, Hydraulic Lift, Gas Lift.
Preparing detailed technical installation and troubleshooting procedures
Champions new growth and product ideas; leads special projects that have cross regional or cross business implications.
Develops processes and procedures to understand competition and input to market lead pricing propositions for designated areas.
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
Keep detailed records for tracking, trends, inventory, and stats.
Prospect for potential new opportunities and turn this into increased business.
Build positive relationships with clients.
Support for initial failure analysis and immediate technical recommendations and reports all developments in a timely manner to line management.
Initiates and actively participates in problem solving and continuous Improvement processes (including failures, Quality Improvement Processes, and organizational planning and enhancements)
Carefully prepares and provides in a timely manner regular monthly reports, inventory reports and other requirements requested by line management.
Actively promotes good performance through generation and submission of knowledge sharing documentation.
Position Details
Applications Engineer to work directly with client on the design and development of Artificial Lift system strategies in developing fields.
Minimum Requirements
Mechanical or Petroleum Engineer
A 10 years’ experience with Artificial Lift Systems (preference given to SRP and Plunger Lift)
Experience working in unconventional gas would be favorable.
English language with preference given to Arabic or Spanish as a second language.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Proficient Technical writing skills
