Summary


You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Naval Systems Supply Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) ofNAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER BAHRAIN. The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week).

Qualifications


Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Generating a professional network for continued interaction, dialogue, and cooperation between U.S. and NATO allies; 2) Assessing existing efforts to facilitate discussion among senior decision-makers in order to identify best practices, finding effective solutions to emerging trends and future developments, and to preparing for challenges ahead affecting the command; 3) Applying advanced logistics management concepts, principles, policies, regulations and practices for both ashore and afloat logistics to operations such as deployment, procurement, maintenance, supply, storage, transportation, distribution, facilities and readiness; and 4) Implementing strategic planning, performance management/feedback systems, and business practices to the command.
