3D Designer
About the job
The primary responsibilities of a 3D designer are designing, creating, and providing aesthetic advice for presentations. Producing compelling, photo realistic 3D renderings, animation, and photo composites is also a part of a 3D designer’s job. The 3D designer is usually expected to brainstorm within the multimedia design group of a company and mentor junior or assistant designers.
Responsibilities
· Develop 3D designs for new products.
· Review and enhance 3D designs for existing products.
· Manage documentation of both new and revised 3D designs.
· Understand the project requirements and develop high quality designs accordingly.
· Develop design layouts for complex projects using Computer Aided Design tools.
· Develop primary sketches and models for final selection of product designs.
· Review 3D designs and provide recommendations.
· Select materials, engineering standards, and generic parts for 3D product designs.
· Present designs to proposed Department head clearly.
· Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
· Develop product information packages including drawing specifications.
· Responsible for all the graphic visuals, designs and concepts.
· Required to work closely with the sales and operations team to conceptualize ideas and submit proposals in a timely manner.
· Must play an active role in providing creative ideas.
· Must participate actively in the brainstorming sessions and processes.
· Participate in meetings as and when required for specific projects.
· Follow through the projects from the beginning to the end ensuring the highest quality standards.
· Perform other tasks as assigned.
