We are currently hiring for a Leading Telco/ Digital Solution Provider and they are looking for an experienced Tableau Developer for a permanent role to be based in Bahrain.
Your Responsibilities
Responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis.
Responsible working with the business and technical leaders to uncover trends and insights from data acquired from many different data sources.
Understanding our customers, business, products and vision then creating visualizations and insights for collaboration with stakeholders to drive results.
Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization.
Provide reports through office applications to improve business processes.
Collaborate with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission.
Analyze business requirements and processes and recommend them to the management and executives for implementation.
Create and maintain documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization.
Identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability.
Special Tableau skills:
Tableau Fundamentals: Tableau Introduction, Functions in Tableau, Parameters in Tableau, Data Connections, LOD Expressions, Data Blending, complex Calculations, Customize charts on table like Speedo Meter, water fall Chart, Word Cloud etc..
Extensive hands-on experience with Tableau Data Prep & Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
Experience working with large data sets & able to write simple to complex queries or formulae to create calculated fields.
Your Qualifications
Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields (equivalent work experience considered).
7+ years of Proven experience in successful BI Implementation based on DW /Big Data.
Proven Experience in Telecom BI/Dashboards/CX implementations using Tableau is must.
Actively investigate and gain domain knowledge to understand customer, business and technical ecosystem
Research data sources required for creating data visualizations and normalizations
Query Data & Tuning through (i.e. SQL, Impala, HQL, and Spark) using different data bases (RDBMS, Cloudera, Columnar DBMS (Kudu), MPP (Greenplum)).
Create data visualizations and insights to collaboration with the team with Power BI / OBIEE / Tableau / Qlik (Mandatory).
Participate in interoperation of data, visualizations and insights through written or oral communications.
Ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals.
Collaborative team player with process improvement mind set.-
Expert level proficiency in MS Excel, Access, SQL (i.e., pivot tables, macros, charts, creating queries, and downloading data from existing queries.)
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and larger group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Soft-Skills, with emphasis on communication and presentation
