The solution architect’s responsibilities include understanding customers need, gathering requirements, advising the customer on the best solution, and supporting the team to build the solution architecture.
You will be the focal point between the regional team facing the customer and the product team developing the solution.
You will ensure that the development team has a full understanding of customer needs and ensure accurate development and implementation based on customer requirement.
Other responsibilities include:
Support regional sales team during RFI/RFP process
Lead POC and customer demo
Contribute to the design of the solution roadmap taking into consideration market trends and customer needs.
Ensure solutions are not only fit for the specific purpose but also aligned with the standard guidelines of technology
A team player with Great interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, you will need to manage internal and external stakeholders and ensure alignment of all parties along the product/project lifecycle.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or equivalent education.
Proven experience in POS Solutions and software architecture design
Good understanding of coding languages
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk and present to a range of business and technical audience
Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone
Ability to motivate others and lead change.
Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within project timeframes.
Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach.
