Are you ready for a step in your career as a Security Operations Center analyst?
This service is the first line of response regarding the potential occurrence of a cyber-attack or security incident. Supported by several automated tools such as intrusion detection systems, log correlation engines and SIEM, ticketing systems, alerts, and warnings from internal and external sources. It also involves receiving, prioritizing, and responding to alerts, requests, and reports, analyzing events and potential incidents, and providing primary support for incident responders.
Security Operations Center Analyst
Your knowledge and skills
You have a bachelor's degree in the relevant area
3+ years as a mid-level /analyst in a Security Operation Center
Good knowledge of Windows security events analysis, firewall, proxy, and IDS logs
Writing and optimizing, IDS signatures (preferably SNORT and/or SURICATA) YARA rules is a plus
Knowledge in Host-based security solutions such as HIPS, Malware endpoint protection, OS Logs
Good English communications skills, Positive teamplayer
You will work on location in The Hague and therefore preferable if you live in the area
You are willing to work 24/7 shifts
