2-Senior Accountant - Bateel Cafe
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant for Bateel Cafe located at a high-end mall in Bahrain.
Mandatory for applicant to have experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Posist.

REQUIREMENTS
- - An accountant with a proven track record in Food and Beverage with specific industry experience - At least 3 years experience in finalizing monthly accounts and audits - Degree in Accounting or equivalent Personal Profile: - Displays emotional maturity and sensitivity in dealing with others. - Operates with integrity and objectivity at all times - Organized and demonstrates good planning skills - Proactive to address and resolve issues. - Ability to work in a fast paced work environment - A Team player - First class people skills and the ability to communicate effectively across a multi-national, multi-cultural environment. - Should be able to work under pressure. - The ability to deliver results within a pressurized deadline driven environment
Job Scope: - To assist the manager in managing the cafe, as an independent profitable unit and set performance standards - To ensure that the Outlets Operational budget is in line and cost are strictly controlled maximizing profitability. - To assist in maximizing profitability of the restaurant by implementing cost controlling for the food & beverage and other costs as priority. - proactively makes recommendations to Management for improving profitability - To coordinate with other team member whenever necessary regarding any problems - To participate in regular meetings and briefings to keep employees informed of policies and procedures. - To keep informed of standards of operation in competitor outlets. - To support in ensuring the outlet is without expired products - To support with annual performance appraisal - To personally conduct inventories in order to provide accurate information. - To liaise and ensure the efficient control of the outlet account receivables, monthly inventory, spoilage, wages and credit tips - To coordinate to Café Head Office for all financial and logistic matters

Job Scope: - To manage the cafe as an independent profitable unit and set performance standards, thus achieving maximum guest satisfaction by providing the high standard of Food and Beverage quality, presentation and service required by the company. - To be efficient and diplomatic in dealing with situations involving any aspect of Food and Beverage where the reputation or image of the company is represented Finance: - To ensure that the Outlets Operational budget is in line and cost are strictly controlled maximizing profitability. - To assist in maximizing profitability of the restaurant by increasing turnover (revenue and covers) as a first priority and controlling food & beverage and other costs as the second priority. Operation: - To participate in the formulation and continual upgrading of a Departmental Operations Manuals detailing standards of performance, policies and procedures and service standards pertinent to the efficient operation of the outlet in accordance with the company policy. - To ensure that guest needs and expectations are met by providing an efficient and professional service. - To liaise with all support departments to provide a consistently high standard of service. - To promote the identity of the outlet, building rapport and a sense of personalized service towards guests. - Makes recommendations to Management for modernization of equipment, service methods, presentation and inspired guest satisfaction. - To coordinate with other Outlet Managers whenever necessary regarding operational problems - To participate in regular meetings and briefings to keep employees informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments. - To keep informed of standards of operation in competitor outlets. - Helps to ensure that all safety rules emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations are strictly enforced by employees. - To ensure a good organization for the smooth running of the operation by using the checklist and service standard set in the Module - To ensure the outlet is without expired products - To support with annual performance appraisal - To ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness, repair and maintenance and to provide a smooth flow of linen supplies and uniforms. - To personally conduct inventories in order to provide accurate information. - To liaise with the accounts department to ensure the efficient control of the outlet account receivables, monthly inventory, spoilage, wages and credit tips - To coordinate with Café Head Office for all administrative and logistic matters
