- Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing regular cleanings and other
preventative procedures, and establish a plan for better dental hygiene.
- Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root
canals, surgical extractions, filling cavities, implants and cosmetic dentistry
- Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health
- Communicate with dental staff on our team regarding patient treatment plans
- Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations
- Applying helpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
- Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.
- Giving clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments.
- Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
- Using tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
- Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them.
- Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery, DDS, DMD or DD is required
- Current NHRA license to practice dentistry
- Valid malpractice liability insurance
- Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience at a dental practice
- Dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care to patients
- Excellent communication skills
