Can you provide the leadership and people skills to influence the development of large high-tech dairies? Then Head of MENA Supply Chain & Production at Arla would be the next role for you. You will be leading two state of the art facilities (Bahrain and KSA) and will be based in our Bahrain plant which is amongst the top ten plants across the globe in Arla, manufacturing different types of processed cheese under the brands of Arla, Puck and Kraft.
This role will have a direct reporting line to Kim Villadsen, Senior Vice President of MENA.
What Will The Role Look Like
As the Head of MENA Supply chain, you will be leading a group of 9-10 function heads while looking over an organisation of 500+ employees. You will be embedding an Arla culture of safety, quality, efficiency, and ambition.
You will have visibility and an opportunity to show what you can as a senior leader and be responsible for
- End to End Leadership – As a part of the MENA Leadership team, you will have a strategic & tactical role in the development and implementation of the overall supply chain pipeline while maintaining high quality end to end and collaboration crossfunctionally within Arla MENA.
- Create, implement and refresh the functional strategic plan and implement appropriate programs to address evolving business requirements or issues, collaborating with Group and other divisions, regions, carriers, freight forwarders and other supply chain partners.
- Constantly review external trends and identify internal opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensuring that all departments comply with Arla Foods’ standards, health & safety first procedures including cornestones & developing Arla culture mindset, quality & first time right performance.
- Establishes, measures and tracks Supply Chain E2E performance goals and use this information to drive a strong efficiency & performance culture in the entire SC value chain.
- Works with data-driven decision-making using Arla Performance Systems such as LCO, OEE, CI, 5S, PowerBi etc.
- Organizes resources and activities to ensure agreed deliverables by the means of an optimal organization and production process by ensuring capabilities & competencies.
