Job Description
This is a 0200 Teacher (Mixed Middle), located at Bahrain Middle High School. This vacancy is open to all current, permanent DoDEA-Europe & DoDEA-Pacific Educators, including those in Cuba. Federal employees in Bahrain receive a 10% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. ↔

3. Duties
- Select, adapt, or modify teaching methods or materials based on effectiveness for the assigned grade level(s) and subject matter.
- Develop a repertoire of strategies to accommodate the differentiated needs of learners.
- Establish classroom routines consistent with a healthy learning environment.
- Develop, coordinate, and administer a comprehensive guidance and counseling program to facilitate the DoDEA educational program and promote student welfare.
- Provide information and guidance to individuals and groups of students, teachers, other school staff members, and parents regarding academic, career, behavioral, personal, and social development.
- Advise the principal on issues, attitudes, and reactions of students, teachers, and parents related to curriculum, school policies, programs, or procedures.
4. Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Direct deposit of pay is mandatory.
- A two-year trial or probationary period may be required.
- Appointment is subject to a suitability/fitness determination by a background investigation.
- This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks due to interaction with children and youth under 18 years.
- Candidates may need to sign a transportation and mobility agreement, be available for worldwide placement, and rotate to any DoDEA location.
- Must meet the requirements of the 26JUL12 DODI 1400.25 V1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights.
- Individuals hired from the Continental United States (CONUS) and their US citizen family members must obtain Official Passports before overseas departure.
5. Qualifications

Minimum Academic Preparation and Requirements:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution is required.
At least 40 semester hours in general education courses across various fields such as English, history, social studies, mathematics, fine arts, languages, science, philosophy, and psychology is mandatory.
A minimum of 18 semester hours in professional teacher education coursework is required, including learning processes, measurement, philosophy, psychology, social foundations, methods of teaching, and curriculum relevant to the position.
0210 Teacher (English) - Middle School: A major in English or a minimum of 24 semester hours in English, including literature and writing composition.
0240 Teacher (Mathematics) - Middle School: A minimum of 24 semester hours in mathematics, including at least 9 upper-level semester hours.
Evaluation Criteria:
You will be evaluated based on your competency in the required areas. Foreign degrees and coursework must be evaluated prior to acceptance. Acceptable evaluation procedures include working with accredited organizations, ensuring the foreign institution is recognized, or validating coursework through regional accredited universities.

4. المتطلبات
شروط التوظيف
