Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager. The Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, meeting sales targets, managing customer relationships, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for some remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and qualification.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups to understand clients' evolving needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of services and exceed client expectations.
Sales Presentations and Proposals:
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
Create detailed and customized proposals that address clients' specific needs and showcase the value of our consulting services.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Use market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Sales and Business Development skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in managing customer relationships and coordinating with cross-functional teams
Strategic planning and execution skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Experience in a management consultancy or similar industry is a plus
Experience in Human Resource Services or Quality Management Systems is a plus
Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
