 We are seeking an organized, experienced purchasing officer to join our growing team.


Purchasing Officer Duties and Responsibilities

1- Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers

2- Request quotes and compare prices for maximum ROI

3- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases

4- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers

5- Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply

6- Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality

7- Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time


Purchasing Officer Requirements and Qualifications

1- Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems

2- Two years of previous experience as a purchasing officer, manager, or related position

3- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

4- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts

5- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

6- Accurate and precise attention to detail
