Junior Underwriter

Location: Manama - Bahrain

Experience: 0–2 Years

Education: Any Graduation

Salary: BHD 1–500 ($3–$1,316)

Nationality: Bahraini

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review and assess insurance applications and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate risk exposure and determine appropriate coverage terms.
• Assist in pricing policies in line with underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare quotes, endorsements, and policy documentation.
• Liaise with brokers, agents, and clients to gather additional information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support senior underwriters in complex risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
• Monitor renewals and assist with portfolio management.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Solid knowledge of insurance principles and underwriting processes.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience as a Junior Underwriter.
• Insurance certification is a plus (e.g., Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualification).
• Bahraini Nationality.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

• إعداد عروض الأسعار والتعديلات ووثائق السياسات.
• التواصل مع الوسطاء والوكلاء والعملاء للحصول على معلومات إضافية.
• ضمان الالتزام بسياسات الشركة والمتطلبات التنظيمية.
• دعم المقيمين الكبار في تقييم المخاطر المعقدة.
• الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة وتحديث الأنظمة الداخلية.
• متابعة تجديدات السياسات والمساعدة في إدارة المحافظ التأمينية.

المؤهلات المطلوبة:

• إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية كتابة ومحادثة.
• معرفة قوية بمبادئ التأمين وعملية الاكتتاب.
• يفضل وجود خبرة من 1–2 سنة كمقيم مبتدئ.
• شهادة تأمين إضافية ميزة (مثل شهادة المعهد الملكي للتأمين - CII).
• استخدام فعال لبرامج الاكتتاب وبرامج Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) لتحليل البيانات وإعداد التقارير.
• الجنسية البحرينية
